threeplusfireCloned kittens born in Austin, Texas. Thanks to a California firm, it seems. Fucking California. I don't understand that state.
They are going to sell six cloned cats for $50,000 each. Fifty thousand dollars. Motherfucker. How many cats could you adopt from shelters, or sterilize, or get shots for with that kind of money? How completely self indulgent. It makes me want to shoot people in the kneecaps. Or perhaps in the gut - Mr. Orange's screams in Resevoir Dogs sounded pretty damned painful.
If we're going to clone things, couldn't we clone something useful or needed? Argh. Just because you can do something doesn't always mean that you should do it.
I always dreamed of my scifi future, but then it wasn't populated by so many morons and greedy idiots.
