We ate brunch at La Madeline today. Since Karen and Melynda don't go to church, we upheld more secular Easter traditions. I ate spinach quiche, a potato galette, and strawberries romanoff. We dyed Easter eggs too, which was fun. Except that I didn't know what to do with them afterwards. I can't eat that many hardboiled eggs.

Ate a chocolate Easter bunny too, that someone insisted I keep. For the record, it went well with the wine.

Where are Mulder & Scully tonight? Why am I not packing more boxes? Why am I on my second pepper jack cheese sandwich? I wish I knew.

I just can't make a good potato galette, and I have no idea how to make quiche. So I have to go out. Someday I will learn.

How can you have Easter without a chocolate bunny? Quick, go out and get one right now! :P

ohohoho quiche is SO easy! i made two just this morning -- you buy a crust (pilsbury makes a good one for quiche cause it's sorta salty), put some fillings in the bottom (sausage, cheese , veggies) and then pour egg/milk/s&p mixture over it. cook. earn rave reviews. very good. everyone things it's hard... i shouldn't give away the secret... :)

i CAN't get a bunny- cause everything is closed around here. walmart and GIANT (the big grocery). we are a small place. but that's okay. i have lots of chocolate out at the house... i even have some little chocolate cadbury bunnies, so those will do the bunny trick i think :)
