threeplusfireMy grandparents live in Daphne, Alabama which is not far from Mobile. They have a nice house in the middle of a golf course, elevated just enough to stay out of the flood plain. I've only been there once, almost ten years ago.
This also happens to be directly in the path of the hurricane.
My grandparents, along with countless neighbors, were determined to wait it out in their homes. I called yesterday after reading evacuation orders had been issued for their county. So now I'm just waiting, to hear from them or my mother. It makes me uneasy, waiting.
