sewing madness

It's bizarre how stiff and sore I feel from this. My legs ache, my back hurts, my neck is stiff and I'm really fricking tired. Saturday night I spent four hours pinning and cutting fabric, and then I started up again at 8am this morning. It was 5:30pm when I stopped. The main body of the piece is stitched together, and I only need to put in the collar and front facing and sleeves. It will need to be hemmed as well. Oh my god that fabric is a superb pain in the ass. So beautiful but so difficult.

Cate's ram made incredible pork with eggplant and zucchini and goat cheese, topped with tomatoes and pasta. So incredibly delicious, and fantastic presentation.

I like sleeping out there, with the genuine dark.

hay.... thought I would drop you a line... Things are going fairly well up here in colorado... currently, i.e. for about one months worth of work, I am acutually getting payed to do Archaeology... would you have ever thought it to be possible...

well now that I finaly did get a journal I friended you so now you are just going to have to hear my ocational rantings to your journal...

Well I promised Mel quite a while ago that when I finally found my self outside of Austin that I would start one up and months latter I finally have… I wish I could tell you about every thing that has happened up here but lets just say that it has been a mixture of disgruntlement, surprise, trouble, the occasional laugh, and a since that though I am enjoying what I am doing I am not getting much out of it…

Sorry… as you know my life is never easily defined and what I just wrote barely touches the surface and seems a little more down than it really is… well no use going back and changing it now….
