I just want to note that the rats in the walls have gotten loud since yesterday. It sounds like they're crawling directly on the sheet rock, dragging each other back and forth. It's making me crazy. I keep trying to write about my little wizard, and the damn rats distract me. That and I started reading Vali's Daniel Dawes stuff and oh my brain has gone off on a tangent.

I am trying really hard to keep my story from turning into a weird, weird, sexually charged ride through the woods. But I have the feeling it's going to end up that way anyway. What the hell is it with wizards? This one is so inept with people, I'm not sure he would know how to fuck if it weren't for the help of his more dashing friend there.

Alan's playing the new CounterStrike and raving about the refracted water coding. No, I really don't know how they do it. But it looks amazing.

It's not the condition zero stuff. Apparently you can preorder the new Half Life, you can download the code for the new CS. It looks pretty swanky.

Its called counter strike: source. Its a straight port of CS 1.6 into the new Source engine that is powering half life 2. Eyes bleeding beatiful. Go to steampowered.com get the silver package. It takes a couple of hours to download but at least you dont have to wait until the 16th. For $60 you get half life 2 cs:source DoD:source and accsess to all of Valves previous releases.
