Well the weather certainly feels more Christmasy, given that it is 32 degrees outside right now. It was snowing up in Dallas, so at least Brett gets a White Christmas. It grew colder through the day, which I started in a short sleeved shirt. Spent most of the day just hanging round my mother's house with my grandparents. They gave us a nice set of practical, modernist silverware, so now I never need to hunt around wash up a spoon when I want one. My mom has a real tree up with lights and little presents all round the bottom. I took over a chocolate cream pie, and we ate sandwiches all day. At work, my sister won a giant smoked turkey. We watched two episodes of Lost tonight, and I'm dying to know what the hell is going on with that freaky ass island.
