Incidentally, the Safe Driver Program sponsored by the Handsome Joel Foundation will kick off on Superbowl Sunday, on Feb. 5th. It has been two years as of Jan. 27th since HJ was killed by a drunk driver who was on his way home from a Superbowl Party. The intoxication manslaughter trial is set for the week of February 14th. Hopefully that will also be the same week of the HJ tribute CD release, with proceeds going to the HJ Foundation.
