rings around

This morning my mother gave me a ring. It belonged to my great grandmother Love who lived to be more than 100. Grandma Love was a big woman, probably close to six feet tall. This was her most favorite ring to wear, of all the ones she had. It's sort of art deco, with a narrow red stone in the center and tiny rectangular white ones to each side.There are tiny stones at the top and bottom as well. Strangely enough, it fits my hand perfectly.

Nothing. At some point I'll end up at Metro to work. It wouldn't kill me to show up an hour or two earlier than usual.
