Oh, I am so sorry. I have a step-sister who sounds quite similar to your sister. It breaks my heart because I know she is not happy, and what is even worse is to see the impact she has on the rest of my family. She is nearly 32, and until very recently was going nowhere. The only way that I can cope with her is by putting distance between us, something it took me a long time to feel okay about. I think that in their way, everyone in the family has done this now. She is going to have to work really hard to earm the closeness back. I wish her all the best. I just can't stand close to the fire. She caused a lot of stress and pain at my wedding, which was so unbelievable to me. It's amazing how family members can take such different paths. Big huge hugs.
