I found a small notebook that I started writing in on the night of September 11th, 2001. I wrote more in that notebook than in my livejournal that season. There was a welter of strange life and care inside me then, everything changing. There are only a dozen or so entries, but it's disquieting.

There's an entry about having my palm read on the Drag that I barely remember happening. But the entry itself makes some unsettling notes. I don't go in for prophecies, or predestined moments. Still, it's a bit uncanny.

The only part I want to note here:
... that I try to project many selves, but I know my own identity strongly.
