Tell me something about yourself.

As for me, last night I slept on the sofa and dreamed about chasing rabbits. I miss drinking cherry coke. The divorce is making me miserable. I want to run away to Brno and not come back. I love European pop music. I need to lose weight. It's damned hot here this summer.

I missed so much sleep this week that I felt a bit zombie-d. I slept for many hours last night and today. I don't like my job as much as I once did and that worries me, since I'd like to stay put for awhile. However, I've been dreaming of working overseas for the past few months.

It was damn hot here yesterday, but there's a breeze right now. My windows are open for the first time in days. My back hurts from stress and even though I'm happy, I wish I had a boyfriend.

Someone is doing construction across the street - it's loud.

I have eaten so much junk food over the last few days I've gained about half a stone. The weight issue aside I am looking more and more like Snape. My hair is greasy and my nose is crooked and my skin so pale it worries me. The weather is miserable and rainy, and looking outside makes me slightly ill and depressed. But going outside makes me happy. Julia and I got up at 1.30 today and had breakfast at 4.30 pm. I feel like re-reading Spinner's End today.

i too ate too much junk this week on account of husband's bday. i'm currently in my pjs still (though i was out of them and then got back in so my normal clothes could be washed). about to wrap a birthday present for a sweetiepie infant that just turned 1 and then we will be going to her 1st birthday party. i knit her a little hat that hopefully will make her look like a puppy (has ears and a bone chinstrap) and to complete the present bought a touch and feel puppy board book and the cutest stuffed puppy EVER (was 2.08 on sale- thank gods for target!) i like movies- just watched "rear window"- i'm not sure i've ever seen it straight through. Good!

I've been sleeping too much because I don't have anything better to do. I'm bored and I feel lazy, but I'm not ready to go back to school. Because my brain doesn't have anything else to occupy it, it's dwelling on things better left alone.

I, too, want to run away for a while.

I keep having highly sexual dreams, mostly involving Andrew. I just spent the morning at a thing on vocation where I was the youngest person (besides the female priest) by about thirty-five years, and it drove me crazy. I got really angry at a letter that was printed in the Dallas Morning News religion section this morning. I'm extremely happy that my mother is out of town.

I have to be at work at four in the morning tomorrow and I've been dreading it all day. I'm addicted to hot tea like some people are to cigarettes and I'm obsessed with eBay.

I just paid a deposit on my new apartment. My bedroom has a huge, round bay window. It is such a San Francisco apartment, all my roommates are in bands and/or work for non-profits. We'll see how it goes. I am excited because I am going to see a ghost town smack in the middle of the Bay Area in two weeks, on a tour with the park services. I want to go back on my own and trespass. I am scared to have a boyfriend who treats me so nice, because I think I will probably break his heart.

It is hot here, but not too bad because it is not humid.

Hmm... I'm not allergic to anything.
I'm very much into things being in certain order, and love 'helping' in bookstores putting things back in their right places. :) And putting my spice bottles in alphabetical order.
I love lists and know exactly, of my records, where it was bought, who bought it, how much was it, what was the date. Really.

I am at work and unhappy...

I am tired.

Last night I spent with a good friend of mine whose mother died of ALS recently. I am very sick, my cat knows it, and he's doing his best to make me comfortable...even trying to lick up my stuffy nose! My mother is in a better position but will never be healthy. I love my brother. I have two siblings that are one month old. I'm at the end of a serious long term relationship which is giving me a plethora of mixed emotions. However, I'm too sick to feel anything but sick. I can't even clean the house.

I forbade my husband to speak to me, to call me on the phone or send me mail, electronic or otherwise, because I didn't want to hear how much I'd hurt him by leaving.

Of all the things I left in Austin, it's my car that I miss the most. Perhaps it's because I can still talk to the people I left behind; perhaps it's because my relationship with that car predated my relationships with any of them. I have considered buying another, but I've decided not to because I know that any other CRX will just feel like a replacement, a substitute for the one I really want.

My comfort foods are Spaghetti-Os and Lays potato chips with salsa con queso. Ice cream and Coke are no longer comfort foods; they're necessities.

When I lived in Austin I was on the verge of becoming an alcoholic.

Heat doesn't bother me, as long as it's dry. Although it's broken a hundred every day this past week, I haven't minded much because the humidity is so very low.

I like ginger Altoids.
