it's on fire

I finished the final in a surprising 25 minutes. Exactly as I suspected, it was old exam questions all jumbled together. I think it will raise my average a bit. Now I'm done with my semester.

The cat is racing wildly around the apartment. I came home to the smell of a moth burning in the lamp. Sigh. It makes me sad when the cat kills those, as Hana taught me that moths and butterflies are good signs. Such lovely things too.

It's quiet and all I want to do is sit here.

Hana told me that moths and butterflies are somewhat magic. That they are symbolic of great change, and to see one when you're about to do something big is a good sign. I'm not sure where that comes from, either Czech stories or Nabokov or something inbetween.
