pound cake with chocolate sauce

I'm contemplating putting rum in the chocolate sauce. It sounds like a good idea. The pound cake has gone into the oven. Tyler doesn't have a mixer so I had to cream all that butter by hand. A ton of eggs in this recipe! i hope it comes out well, because I'll never hear the end of it from Tyler if it doesn't. Hah!

Delightful Halloween. West Wing reruns and cake baking. I bought new shoes today, a pair of all black Converse high tops. They make me happy. I also have green socks.
