Sadly the mentality of the other side is the same but luckily stoning and lynching are no longer allowed in our country, though similar things still happen.
I still hope that our generation will wake up and kill this in the courts… it was the same for marriage between races and that finally was allowed.
I agree with your sentiments about the “moral majority”, as they like to call themselves, but the said thing is, is that this is now becoming the mentality of a lot of the world.
When disillusionment about life sets in, people look for direction… and the fanatics, “moral majority”, and close-minded have gladly pulled them in.
