dark wizards abound!
Okay, so I was seriously unhappy with some of the pacing. WTF, Quidditch World cup and we get no Quidditch? I am so deeply unhappy about that. Quidditch! Come on folks. It was one of many moments that felt like the director just hit the fast forward button and spliced out a chunk of film. No Sirius, Narcissa, Bill or Charlie? The Skeeter bits? Again, whiskey tango foxtrot?
The lack of Percy, and the Crouch story line, was also distressing. I felt it was rather essential to the whole betrayala because the freaking movie does not explain how Barty Jr got the hell out of Azkaban! And you can bet they don't just let you out a window. This annoyed me probably more than most of the other omissions.
Alright, most of my complaining out of the way. Let's chat about how hilariously adorable Neville was practicing his waltz steps. I love the kid they have as Cedric. The Volemort scenes were brilliantly done. Lucius Malfoy's hair was perfect. The Dark Mark looked brilliant. Draco as a ferret was too hilarious for words.
Beautiful vision, flawed execution, but so it goes. I enjoyed it.

Sirius' face 'in the fire' riled me, but not least because there was no fire. Surely I'm not alone in having pictured a large blazing fireplace, rather than a coal heater in the corner?

YEah, the face in the fire was not all how I pictured the scene. I was thinking flames. Doesn't the book even say flames? Hello?
