I'm pinch hitting a story for mistletoe magic, and it's a pairing I've never ever done. But I just had the evil thought to do something sort of the style of Brokeback Mountain, and it's just so full of evil. Fortunately, these are such secondary characters that I'm not dealing with too much canon. Hah!

Do you mean evil things HAPPEN in it, or the point of view the writer is ESPOUSING is evil?

The evil thought was centered around writing a story with a lot of silences, mostly.

Brokeback Mountain is sad. I think it is about living with less than you should have to, and these broken connections with people who ought to be the ones we are closest with.
