I spent the large chunk of my afternoon sitting on the patio at a coffee shop, reading a biography of Courtney Love. No, really. It would have been perfectly nice except for a couple of children, and a strange amount of wood dust. I hate it when people feel like their children should run around a restaraunt/coffee shop/store like it is a damned playground. If I wanted to hear shrieking children I would be at a bloody playground. Argh.

But other than that and a silent phone, it was a pretty good afternoon.

My knees hurt for some reason.

my thought in inappropriately rambuncious situations like that is "your children are NOT cute!"

i need to be careful though, sometimes i think i even say it aloud.
