So it occurs to me that maybe some of the edge would come off if I got back int he habit of writing. I can't promise myself I'll be any more faithful to that than I am to yoga and video games, but we'll see. Anyhow. I've had a filter for some time that I've used for writing, both things of an original bent and fanfic. If you're not already there and want to be, comment and let me know. Conversely, if you can't stand it and want me to take you off I will.

One... yes, I expect I *am* on that filter. And if I'm not, I want to be.

Two... One of the things I remind myself is that even during the slump periods where I'm not writing fiction or poetry or anything remotely sellable, the pbem games are writing. And in that, I'e been successfull in writing an ongoing serial for some time. I know you're talking fiction, but if it's a self-esteem thing, this reminder may also help.

Three... As this whole Egregores thing comes into focus for me, I'm getting closer and closer to writing a quick handbook on the universe in preparation for me building the game book. If you'd be interested in helping to write some of the fiction (and help flesh out the setting), I'd certainly be willing to work with you and give you credit if it ever gets to a publishing stage.... Interested?

The PBEM definitely helps. Much as I live in my own head, the interplay with others is useful and interesting.
