shiny objects in space

Okay, I have no business buying things really. Especially not given how stressed I am about money. But whatever. I like soap, I like shiny objects. I rationalize some of it as a mental health expense. I'm still putting away a good chunk of change into my savings account and a money market fund every month. Plus my job takes a big chunk for retirement.

I can't go a day without staring at Wearable Sculpture. Seriously beautiful things. In fact, the cashier at Whole Foods loved my custom necklace so much that I gave her one of Kythryne's cards. (I keep them in my purse all the time these days.) Right now I'm in love with Sun #1 because it just looks like it would glow in the light. Most of the things I own, aside from my custom piece, are fairly simple. I'm just itching to order a more complicated pendant with different stones or something. Sail Across the Stars #2 is perfect and makes me wish I had that money to spend.

To compromise, I signed myself up for the earring club. I like earrings. I could use some more.

Ooooh, pretty! Pity I'm not a jewelry wearer or I'd buy immediately.

They are just so fascinating. I'm a crow at heart, so I'm a sucker for anything shiny but these are extra special. What is really surprising about them is how light and effortless they feel.

Wearable Sculpture looks very elf-like, so suffice it to say, I'm not surprised at all that you like it. :)

Hahah, I hadn't thought about that but yes. ;) Veil of Stars screams elf princess to me.
