There is so much damned drama in the Guild over these Molten Core raids. It makes me never want to get to level 60, truthfully. I don't want to be involved in this bullshit. It's a game, a fracking game. All the shiny toys aren't real. The only reason I play WoW is because I like my imaginary character to run up and hit monsters with a sword that is about as tall as she is, and because I can do this with my friends.
Years ago I noticed that if I was around very competitive people, and the competition was over something completely pointless (like a game) I would instantly become as non-competitive as possible. I don't want to get into it over something like a game. I'll be ruthless and competitive when it comes to something that is real, like writing or work. But fuck getting so worked up over a game. I hate that.
I watched the new Sopranos, whoa nelly. Things are going down. The first episode of Big Love left me with mixed feelings. I can see how it can be a great show and unique but damn if it does not creep me out and unsettle me. I suppose good television ought to be somewhat unsettling though, take you out of your comfort zone.
Grocery store was a pain tonight, redeemed only by cute plush Peeps. Oh Peeps, how you make me smile even when I am sad.
Really, just fuck this week. I'm ready for it to be over already.

We're in MC right now, but it's all chill.

Maybe the Drafthouse will figure out a way to screen it and let people smoke while watching it.
