I saw V for Vendetta tonight at the Alamo. I think the final moments of the film are so arresting and incredible. I cried and laughed at the same time. It was really beautiful, and hurt at that hopeful side of me.
When we got out of the theater, it was pouring down rain, covering the road and the sky was light up with streaks of lightning.

It was funny--when we saw it yesterday it was in a theatre packed with undergrads. I had to chuckle to myself because they ended up getting hit in the face with contemporary political issues when I bet they thought they were just in for a sci-fi/action thriller.
HAR!
