26 going on 86

I fell getting into the shower this morning. Pretty badly, truth be told. I managed not to hit my head, but I have successfully bruised the entire inside of my right leg. I'm sitting here with ice hoping the swelling will go down enough to pull my jeans on for work. All I could think while falling was oh god my cell phone is in the other room and no one's home and I don't want to crack my head open in the bathtub. Still, I managed not to scream.

oh no! i'm glad you're okay, but i think screaming is a good, healthy reflex. that happened to me not too long ago, but i was not so positive as to count my blessings for not breaking my head. did it make you feel very... old?

Oh yes. I feel like I need to get a walker and take it everywhere so I don't break a hip. Argh!

I could scream now. My knee has swollen like a grapefruit.

Poor you.

I burned my foot almost 2 weeks ago while draining pasta. Still a little red, but getting better.

ouch, burns are the worst! My sister got a burn on her stomach the same way.
