threeplusfireSo the oil changing was painless and fast. I was out of there much sooner than I expected, so I went to buy gasoline in preparation for the weekend's driving and still ended up thirty minutes early to work. I called my dad and made a date to have dinner next Wednesday as an early birthday thing. We're going to Mesa Ranch. Mmmmm steak and bread and salad and cocktails.
I would be really glad if I did not have any more mentally ill callers today. Not just mentally ill, but crazy and poor historians. It's just been a lot of the most vague and whacked out stuff. This day won't end soon enough.
My quarterly performance evaluation is about due, so I may get that this afternoon. Eep. I always dread some random horrible thing coming up that makes me mortified and feel incompetant. I know that's not too likely, but still.
Newest pet peeve: People who type words like money as "munny" and don't as "dun." This is stupid, and makes you look like some hillbilly yokel idiot. I understand spoken language mutates sound just about as fast as the grass grows around Chernobyl but for heaven's sake people the English written language is not open for you to change. Just write the damned words correctly and stop thinking you're so cute or clever for acting uneducated.
