thirty

I learned today that our system will only accept thirty allegations of abuse or neglect in any one case. Only thirty! I had to document the rest of them in a text field, and boy did I have more. I've never done that before. There people will have a special place in hell waiting for them.

It has been crazy busy, especially for a Friday. Must be all those school teachers who wonder why Little Billy has a black eye every week all year long and start to worry when the end of the year comes up. I will be so relived to get out of here tonight and not deal with this for a couple days. It's just been a rough week. I've not even had the chance to watch the newest Dateline internet predator sting. That's rapidly becoming my favorite piece of television evil these days. It's just so wrong, and I get a nasty jolt of happiness when I see these bastards arrested.

My quarterly review went well, all things considered. My supervisor is happy with me, I do well, my grades are all good. I like it that way. One day, I will rule this agency with an iron fist, mwuahahah! Um, yes, moving along.

I'm going to see Mr Sinus' take on Showgirls tonight. For those of you who live outside of my lovely city, Mr. Sinus is rather like a live MST3K gig. From what I've heard it is a riot. I've not had a chance to go, so I'm looking forward to it.

I second that. I know the system sucks, but after 30 allegations, why isn't someone in prison?

This was all in one case, one report. We were just hearing about it. So, who knows? Hopefully they will put this person in a mental instutition, because I think that's part of the problem. Too crazy to be taking care of kids.

Well depending on your interpretation of Dante, I think that they would end up in the outer or middle tier of the Seventh Circle.

Outer Ring/River of Boiling Blood! This is for the people violent against other people or property

Middle Ring/ Chased Perpetually Through the Trees by Ferocious Dogs! This is held for people violent against their selves, as a subset of suicide, depending on if you consider their family members as property. “In my mind most abusive people think that they own the person(s) they are abusive against”

After thirty, there should be some superhero tasked with murdering the parents. That's the cleanest solution that occurs to me.
