threeplusfireMy first personal encounter with some of the hateful, irritating people who do exist on Livejournal. Well... Never feed the trolls, as Deb says.
In happier news I wandered stacks of comic books and played lots of Crazy Taxi. I want Transmetropolitan issues. I even saw a Spider Jerusalem action figure!! Rock. Went swimming this morning in the absolutely stunning weather. It's perfect outside today, very un-Texas summer weather.
Earlier, we were discussing the horrible child beauty pagents, and found one organization that claimed to be "Christ-centered." Excuse me? Objectifying your children and parading them for your gain is "Christ-centered" just how? Ugh. I kept thinking of Christ overturning the tables of moneychangers in the temple. I almost wish he would send tornados upon the people abusing their children. But that isn't really very Christian of me either. Sigh. Damn.
