Sometimes, I don't understand why people act like such bleeding idiots online. Like the fact that comments can be made entitles them to jump into situations they aren't involved in or attack people. The nastiness I've witnessed in the past few days here has depressed me. To the point of actually writing about Livejournal in my journal. *sigh*

Why can people not let things go? Why can't they just apologize for a misunderstanding, or an insult, and move on? It happens all the time I suppose. My father would never apologize for saying certain things. It hurts that a grown man could act like an immature boy in such tense situations.

Speaking of my father, I had lunch with him today. He called, and invited me to Pappasitos. I ate beef and Mexican food, as I probably won't be eating much of that anytime soon. It went pretty well I think, and we didn't fight. I hope when I come back that things are better with the family. He didn't know about my sister and I feel a little bad for saying anything. I really hope he doesn't call my mom and flip out on her about it.

Went to Amy's Ice Cream with Deb, and had a deliciously melty scoop of Chocolate Grand Marnier with crushed almonds. Mmm, solidarity with my bovine sisters! Ever since Kiss My Tiara, eating ice cream is now a political act. Hee. I love it.

Hot hot hot outside today. We're hiding inside with the cats. I need to buy some plane reading material today or tomorrow. I'm so nervous. The waiting, the waiting, the waiting....

It was a gift actually, but I'm pretty sure he found them tucked away in the foreign music section of Tower Records. I've also seen them on Amazon.com. The set I have is so good. Hope you find them. :)

Yes, it was at Tower Music, on the Drag. Not the foreign music section, though. It was in the import section. Maybe comps.

Um, if you're facing the back of the store in the rock section, there is the back right corner (not of the store, but of the aisle around the rock section). Put your back in that corner, and look at the corner of the bin you're facing. Should be comps. That's where it was.
