This world is so screwed. I just read something I refuse to even link to because I don't want to send anyone to see the stupid bitch and increase her pageviews. But this is the second time I've been called "childish" this week for pointing out that someone's opinion is not a bloody fact. But you know, this country is doomed if this is the quality of person our educational system is churning out to breed like pigs and vote with their beer guts. I'm an arrogant, vicious harpy liberal bitch when I say this but these people should all be forcibly removed from the gene pool. This level of ignorance is dangerous. (Just look at our leadership for a taste.)

For the record, child protective agencies are not "for profit" and don't make fucking money off removing kids from abusive parents. Anyone who believes such an idiotic statement should be shot. Gah.

It is AC drama, which is easily found. Some stupid nitwit is writing psychotic drivel about how protective agencies are rally out to steal people's children so they can get money for the foster system. When I commented that her article was inflammatory, poorly written and had bad punctuation, others said that my comments were mean and childish before saying I *had* to be a social worker.

I do know of someone who is on AC whose kids were not righteously taken by over-eager CPS people and can be scary on the warpath. But I do not think this is her, from looking. (She is a nice person, and I do think her particular case was & is fucked up six ways from Sunday because of problems in the system, but I do not think that CPS is teh evil in general.)

Count yourself lucky, it's really stupid.

Mistakes happen, and yes sometimes there are not nice people working, but dear god. It's like saying every cop is a crook, or every doctor is just a money grubbing golfer. This sort of thing makes my skin crawl, because I hear exactly this sort of self righteous crap from people who have done unforgiveable things to their children.
