of the kolach

My back is aching like crazy, down the back of my left ribs and into my lower back. Damn it. My legs hurt too, which must have been from moving boxes and carrying stuff all over the place yesterday. Ergh. I feel elderly. I need a heating pad. Time to break out my rice filled pillow That usually works.
Tyler brought me some kolache from Hruska's, which makes me intensely happy. Pan sausage with cabbage ones, and ones full of poppy seeds. Mmm, heavenly. I should learn to make kolach dough. It's so delicious. Maybe I'll write an article on kolach for AC. I wrote one today about chocolate cream pie. I need to think of more. Recipe articles are easy for me.
Watching first season of Dallas, which is hysterical. To think it took five episodes before Bobby punched JR! I'd forgotten just how sneaky and manipulative Lucy Ewing was.

Date: 2006-07-18 12:08 pm (UTC)i think it might be dangerous to know how to make them actually. it will be like knowing how to make crepes (easy)... i make too many crepes! this in itself is okay, but when the perfect companion is nutella- it's all sorts of bad! i just finished nutella filled crepes for breakfast, with whipped cream. *sigh*
