This day has just been one thing after another, and I have that Garbage song stuck in my head but I'm not on a bullet train from Tokyo to Los Angeles. Too bad. I could have gone my whole life without hearing that paticular sexual abuse call, or reading the news today with the new emergency calls from 9/11/01. It all makes me feel exhausted and miserable with the entire human condition.

Those of you who have signed up to participate in decorating my cube of doom have made the day brighter though. If you want to send me a photo or a card, you can drop your email in the black hat here. I can't wait to start making things more interesting here.

I'm going to go sit outside in the sunlight, and think about lunch boxes and radishes.
