So I was completely bummed by Project Runway tonight. Seriously, all that "deconstructed" whatever nonsense Jeffrey puts together doesn't look wearable or interesting. All those dangling loops of fabric? Who is going to wear that and not get caught on door knobs and chairs? Uli's collection was pretty and marketable. Michael's was like some weird 70s girl gone wrong. I love Laura's clothes. She makes beautiful things, with a quality and professionalism that I think is heads above all the others. I thinkit was a real shame she didn't win. How badly do I want that Greta Garbo-esque outfit? Man.

So we're watching the second season of top chef now. The Marcel guy has Wolverine hair! It's evil.

Yeah, I loved Laura's collection, but I though Uli, honestly, had this one in the bag. Whiel not personally my style, Uli presented an amazing collection. Jeffrey's looked contrived, impractical, and unattractive. That green and white striped outfit with the zippers? It looked like she was wearing a cushion cover for an outdoor lounge chair.

I told my mom that I'm pretty okay with Jeffrey winning, but that I want something from Uli's collection for my birthday.

Do you get BBC America? If you do, hie thee to the television tomorrow morning...a full weeks' worth of Master Chef episodes will be on. Master Chef is Top Chef done *right*. :) For that matter, later on catch "The F Word" in the evening - another cooking show done well.

Sadly, we don't get BBC America on this cable package and the other cable company doesn't service my area. Sadness!
