wild animals, or what you should get me for Christmas

I'm trying to decide who I should do these for this Christmas. I want owls! Or big cats! Or wolves! Or penguins! Actually I like them all and it is proving impossible to decide.

If I'm going to adopt an Owl, I want it perched on a stand in my library hooting at me every so often and taking off at odd intervals to go hunt. :)

Suppose it depends on whether you want something for a little while - Cottontail Rabbit, or an appreciable length of time - Whale?

Though with Iceland & Japan restarting whaling . . . Hmmmmm
