christmas trees

This year, I'm going to have my own Christmas tree. In my years on my own, I've never had a tree for my home. I want one though and damn it I'm going to just get one this time. I'm going to find a nice little plantation fir, and put lights on it and something sparkly. I need to find a good tree stand, and a tree skirt, and more lights.

That sounds like a good idea. Speaking of sparkly, you could hang all your beautiful jewelry on it. It would be a good excuse to get even more. I bet the lady who does your lovely earrings would love to make actual ornaments too. You could start a tradition of commissioning one a year.

There we go! All my earrings are now ornaments.

Very very cool.
We will be doing the same, and it will also be the first Christmas tree for either of us outside the family home.

you will love it :) we didn't have one last year and it was quite sad. i get weird about hanging the lights though... it's a trauma every year. but we still go through it, because we loving having the tree.

last year i bought a little crystal tree for our more special ornaments. i couldn't get over the shiny. now i just need to find a spot for it. have fun!

What does your crystal tree look like? Is it crystal crystal, or like one of those fiber optic trees?
