threeplusfireSeriously, I don't think I'll ever understand the thinking of some people. Letting a registered sex offender move into your home when he gets out of jail? The whole reason the guy was in jail was for molesting your daughter! People, gah. What an ugly twisted mess.
Work has been full of the stupid. I had one of those screamers. "Well I guess we'll just have to wait for the child to die before you do anything!" Um, well, a child death would be reportable. But mother leaving the kid with a babysitter is not child abuse, and mother going missing is not child abuse. That's really something that needs police intervention. (I keep thinking that poor woman has probably been kidnapped and here the family is trying to have her cited for neglect.) Whiskey tango foxtrot people?
I'm going to cleanse my brain of this nonsense by going to see the new James Bond film. The new Bond is hot, in an evil sort of way. I'm really looking forward to it. This day has made me pull at my hair in frustration, literally. I had to leave the building at lunch and just drive around.
