love, actually

I'm watching one of my most favorite movies, because I recorded it last week. What an excellent ensemble piece that's charming without being sugary and fake. There's hope to be found in there.

I love that movie so very, very much. It is definitely in my top 10 favorites.

Emily and I ended up watching it last night and blowing off homework.

I love Hugh Grant so much. And Colin Firth. And Alan Rickman. And that cutie pie who loves Keira Knightly. Especially him.

Charming, it is, but I don't think you could claim it's not sugary at times. ;)

But I think it isn't sugary the way most mainstream romantic comedies are. I mean, I dislike romantic comedies, but I love this movie.

It's been a while since I've seen that movie, but I do remember enjoying it.

Your post made me watch it this evening. Still makes me all weepy in places.

I remember liking that movie at a time when my view of relationships was almost completely cynical and the thought of romance made me ill and sad. Somehow it was hopeful instead of just depressing. Now I want to see it again. I am glad you found something wonderful to watch. *hugs*
