Kevin and I talked for ninety minutes about the current state of the world. He's finished with classes forever, and in theory if he keeps writing stuff up he will actually graduate in 2008 with that PhD. I can't even imagine. He tells me I should go back to school, and I know he's right on some level. It is a place I belong. In return I told him funny stories about the havoc I've been causing lately, and how restraining my impulse to be mean has actually served me well. I'm sad he won't be back in Texas for Christmas, but so is this world. One of these days I should actually go out to visit him.

My long afternoon nap messed me up and now I need to go to be but I can't sleep.
