threeplusfireSo I decided I really wanted a hot meal, and went out to try to get one. I tried five restaraunts, a grocery store, and a Starbucks. Over the course of 45 minutes I could not find a single parking space. I was menaced by luxury SUVs, clueless pedestrians and one irate white minivan. After all this, I realized it was 50 degrees outside, raining, and there was no way in hell I was going to be able to sit down anywhere and eat. I suppose I could try later, but I somehow doubt it is going to improved. It will just be colder, and wetter. So I turned around and drove home, where the Saturday post has yet to arrive despite my hopes. Maybe I can find a Chinese menu around here somewhere, though I really wanted to sit in a restaraunt and let someone else do the dishes.
