we're all mixed up but we're alive

It's rained for twenty four hours, steady slow rain soaking everything. It might actually stop tonight, though it won't be as cold as they expected earlier this week. I am glad I won't have to be driving in ice, though I am less than thrilled about the rain. I can't remember why I did that. We're seeing the Good Shepard later today, which doesn't exactly seem like a Christmas type movie but whatever. I don't make these decisions.

I've bagged the Christmas presents up in a garbage sack for the dash to the car. I need to pack a shirt and my toothbrush, so I can spend the night at my mother's house. I put on my boots this morning and found a lighter stuffed in each one. It's day cold, and I really just want to lay on the sofa in a blanket.

Over the past day I've managed to watch all of season three of the Sopranos. No more in the on-demand box. Alas. They have Rome though, and I have video games. It's just cold.

I would rather have this weather than sunny and 80. That's just wrong on Christmas, IMO.
