threeplusfireMelynda called while I was in the movies. When she said she had something to tell me, I cracked the joke that she shouldn't tell me she's pregnant. When she said it was about Bob, I put the car in park because I almost dropped the phone.
Bob's patrol was hit with an IED this morning. He had shrapnel all over his left side. They had to do surgery in Baghdad, and then again somewhere else when they airlifted him out. He was able to try to call Krista, but she was asleep. I have no idea how bad it is, only that he is alive.
I hadn't looked at the news all day.
I don't even know what to say.
