nothing like a morning to sleep late

I woke up just in time to see the scenes in Mr. & Mrs. Smith where Pitt and Jolie beat the hell out of each other. Love love love.

The city is also freaking out about dead birds all over Congress. "No credible threat" according to Homeland Security. I'm a lot more concerned about bird flu than terrorism. But typing this entire paragraph gave me uncomfortable flashbacks to Children of Men.

Well. Guess there's nothing else to do but go shopping before the end of the world. I knew I should have purchased a damned gas mask. Hah!

Personally, I think someone poisoned those birds. Whether the poison was meant for the birds or not, I'm not sure, but that's my best guess.
