I can't hear the alarm from where I am

When I went outside to drive to work, I found several pieces of paper taped to my windshield. Most of them were pretty hostile. Apparently my car alarm was randomly beeping last night, and late into the night. I took the car into the dealership this morning, to find out what electric ghost in the machine is wreaking havoc with my lights, my alarm and who knows what else. I am so sick to my stomach that I could scream.

That was YOUR car? yeah Bagel was going nuts during the night very time she heard it going off.

But don't worry. None of those notes were from me.

I am really sorry. I don't know what is wrong with it. Some random neighbor came out and screamed at me when I went to my car this morning.

people are idiots. Why would they get mad. It's not like you wanted it going off all night. I had something similar happen to me in an old complex when myalarm would go off any time a car would hop on my car.

I can understand the person who left the angry note that their kids couldn't sleep and they had a long day and my alarm is going off under their window. I don't think I'd be happy either. But, it's not like I was deliberately setting off the alarm or had any control over the fact that my car is suddenly possessed by evil spirits.

And how do they know it's not just some farks smacking your car to make the alarm go off? I know kids out here who do that for fun ... walk through the lots smacking cars jus tto make them go off :)

Hell , threats over a car alarm ... turn them in to DHS :)

The dealership says there are no codes, no battery problems, nothing they can find in the machine to substantiate any sort of problem. :/ I don't know what to do. I'm sort of afraid one of my neighbors might do something to my car.

Well you know the drill - someone threatens you , you report to the cops. That way if they do something stupid it's already on file. Like previous poster said, it could be a stray cat landing on your car.

I went through this crap when I lived in VA, with ppl slashing my tires for taking " their " parking space on the street. It was funny when the cops knocked on the door to ask some questions, and discovered an outstanding warrant on the person living there. Oopsie :)
