God it's so beautiful outside today. I bought a bunch of black and white postcards, and walked around the area. Had an entire conversation in Czech with the man at the toy store.

Now I think Molly and I will go eat lunch at Maly Buddha and go lay in the grass on Petrin hill in the sunshine.

Yay! :D I'm glad you enjoyed your postcard. It was the first haiku I've ever written in Czech. I was quite proud of myself, and just had to share.

hello

What is genuine Czech food like? I visited London a few years ago and I keep picturing the food to be like that -- really boring and bland!

Genuine Czech food is delicious!! Potatos of course. I've eaten so many incredible croquettes, potato pancakes, boiled potatos, fried potato wedges, etc. Delicious duck, pork, sausages, chickens, carp, deer. Goulash, garlic soups, crepes with fruit and whipped cream. The most amazing red and white cabbage, cucumbers, tomato and cheese salads. Fried cheese in wedges. Oh the wonders of Czech cuisine...
