This day is so so so weird. I got my car back. The key tags have to be reprogrammed because they don't work with the new control module in my car's brain. Then on the way home, the dome light won't turn off and the doors start randomly locking and unlocking themselves. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? Tyler finally got the dome light to turn off by disconnecting the positive side of the battery while I was on the phone with my dealership asking for an exorcist. At least the guy seemed as baffled as I was.

In other news I'm buying Gene's 40GB iPod because he doesn't use it. It's hard drive is bigger than my laptop's drive. Hah! Now I can walk around and soundtrack my daily life like the best hipster ever. Well, at least I can tune out the extremely loud swing shift worker who sits two rows away from me.

My cake was loved by my coworkers. Now I go to the movies, to see Curse of the Golden Flower. Have I ever noted how hot and awesome and wonderful Chow Yun Fat is? Because I need to do so. I adore him.

I am going to see Pan's Labyrinth on Sunday. I can't remember if you have seen that yet but we are going to the 1:50 showing at the Alamo if you would like to join us. At least I hear it is BEAUTIFUL as well as dark. Dark hasn't been in short supply at all....

I am glad you are getting an iPod. Mine is has been bringing me great joy. It is perfect for our job but you are so fast that I am sure you won't have nearly as much time to listen to it as I do. I only have the 20 gb but it isn't even half full yet and it has mostly every cd that I own.

Sorry the car is being weird. It sounds like it is neurotic as my iPod. Even electronics that come from my mother have issues.
