I think you should read Baby Boy, Baby Girl by my friend and coworker abbismom this weekend. I know, it's the weekend but take ten minutes and appreciate the grace of her storytelling. She's writing about a part of the work that is pretty different from what we do at SWI, but I think all these different jobs blend together in what is expected, what you have to do, and what you have to endure. We're not in the same room with many of these people right now, but we hear the unadulaterated rage, grief and fear on a pretty regular basis.

Wow. Not that it would take much today but that made me cry.

I need to remember that while I am feeling sorry for myself about how hard our job can be...it could always be worse.
