threeplusfireMy fortune cookie last night said I will have reason to be thankful for the coming year. Not that one should always trust a cookie, but there you have it. I wonder about it though, as there is a pervasive sense of grief for lives and worlds that are no longer in people I know. I can see it in their faces, and hear it in their words.
