flowers

One of the random benefits of my banking/insurance/investment company is the random discounts that I don't use often enough. I get a big discount on flowers from Teleflora, and from time to time I get flyers from them. There was one in the mail today, and it is full of spring/Easter things that are bright and colorful. It made me want more flowers to go with the roses on my bedside table. (Which are opening up beautifully) Today I saw lots of bluebonnets, which was a good thing. I like flowers enormously, even though they are fleeting gestures. I was a lot happier when I stopped waiting for other people to buy them for me, and started buying them for myself. It makes me glad to see them around. Of course, I dither and can't decide. So the internet must help me decide what I should get for spring.

I admit, my leaning towards Spring Lavendar is exactly one half hyacinths and one half That Vase(!).

In my garden also grow many ticky veggies -- or will, whenever this foot of snow decides to melt.
