I'm getting a little tired of near death car experiences. Today I watched a speeding car in front of my home skid across the wet pavement and stop less than a foot from my car. All I could think was that I didn't put my seatbelt back on after I checked the mail, and I was probably going to break my damned nose on the steering wheel or something. It was a distinctly unpleasant moment.

Thanks for mentioning this. I never put my seatbelt back after I check the mail, and it was raining tonight, and even though the mailbox is only 30 feet from my parking spot I will be refastening in future.
