you can see them in dreams

I love Alan Lee so much, just as much as Tolkien and maybe even more. I want to get the deluxe edition of The Children of Húrin so much. So much. Lee's art is gorgeous stuff. At the exhibit of all the film props and costumes, they had several of Lee's watercolors and sketches hanging up. I was sorely disappointed that the museum was not selling prints. I'd love to hang his pictures of Gondor, of Rivendell and Lothlórien.

So would I. You can get prints of his somewhere, though, can't you?

I have never seen anything but the very expensive limited run sort of prints. :/ I just don't know!

Are the pictures you're talking about online anywhere, just to be able to look at them? I'm especially curious about Rivendell.

Oh, and I have no plans for Monday and none for Sunday aside from going out to lunch at some point... feel free to give a call or email if you want to drop by sometime.

Theonering.net has numerous pictures of various pieces of Lee's artwork.

Rocking. I will drop you a line when I figure out what I'm doing. I am excited to see the corset!
