where is my music, damn it? Oh right, at home on the desk

Yesterday Stacy and Kirby forgot their ipods. Today I forgot mine. A woman who transferred shifts recently moved into the desk across the wall from mine. Listening to her makes my jaw tighten. Some of the stuff she says makes me go "WTF?!?!" and other times I just wish she would not be so damned loud. I find it almost impossible to work on a call while she is talking. If I hear her say "poor baby" one more time, I might have to strangle her with her headset.

The day is very grey but in that pale, half sort of way. I am looking forward to leaving work soon. Three more hours and I'm out of here. I found out I'm peer training for three weeks in June, so that's three weeks of normal person weekends. That makes me happy.

My birthday is in a month. I'm trying to decide how to celebrate. I sort of want to run away out of town, but my birthday is on the holiday weekend and that just means chaos and high hotel rates. I think it might be better to do that in June. So anything within a three or four hour drive sounds nice. The devil with this though is that hotels rarely show you the damn bathrooms. If I am going to stay somewhere, I want to stay somewhere with a fancy bathroom that has a big bathtub. I like big bathtubs. The hotel doesn't even need to be fancy so long as it has a gardentub or something like that. Austincommunity turned up no real leads, so if anyone can recommend something in Texas I'd be pleased.

Rock star age! Twenty and seven. Very exciting. Hopefully I will not OD in a hotel room full of groupies or crash a tour bus.

This is very true. I would like to avoid that one because it sounds undignified and isn't the point to leave a beautiful corpse? Eesh.

Oh I didn't forget it, I just didn't charge the thing. So it was a pretty paperweight all day. And it wasn't that I didn't put it in the dock, oh no... I had neglected to plug the dock into my computer. Somehow that's important. Dur.

Our honeymoon: Hilton Palacio Del Rio on the Riverwalk in San Antonio. It was wonderful. Got in the elevator, went downstairs and boom - right on the river.
