bad dreams

threeplusfireI should learn not to fall asleep at weird times, or to nap in gerenal. I laid down in my room, thnking it would only be for a short time. Oh how wrong. Four hours later I wake up in a total panic from a nightmare. One of those dreams where the setting is a hodegepodge of places you've seen before.
In the end, I was standing at Guadalupe and Dean Keeton, looking up at the moon, and the high unfamiliar building there. My friend Suzanne was standing at a window on the third floor, and we were talking. The street was dark and quiet. All of the sudden, someone unseen started strangling Suzanne, and I started screaming for the police...
ugh.
Now I've got that nervous edgy feeling where I turn on all the lights. Every time the cat howls or jumps on something, I twitch. Guess I should go wash my face in the sink again.
