I only had to reboot th emodem and the router this morning

Between reading Post Secret and the news, some days I feel like it is a superhuman effort to leave the house. Gods above and below.

The power came back after about an hour, just as the pizza guy arrived. So we watched some escapist entertainment for awhile. There was a wasp in my bag of cookies. I guess it flew in when we had the patio door open. Ugh. I am so glad I looked into the bag before sticking my hand in there. Damn that wasp for making the last cookies inaccessible.

I keep editing a long post in my head, and maybe I'll get around to that tonight.

Eeek. It's definitely a good thing you looked before reaching. I hate stinging bugs.

I also hate power outages. They make me feel completely disconnected.

And to end on a positive note, I like early mornings in the summer. :D

Stinging bugs are so scary. They are not happy. I've always been sort of afraid I'll turn out to be allergic to them, as I've never been stung by a bee or wasp before.

Early summer mornings are sweet. This morning was beautiful because the rain made everything nice and cool.

They are! I got something stinging and evil in my shirt once. Had welts all over my shoulder. :P
